See the nearly 100 species of trees, shrubs and creepers we have at Takayama, Shichigahama in Miyagi Ken. Takayama Beach Company is a resort in NE Japan mainly for missionaries and their families.
Being on the NW Pacific Ocean we get hot wet summers and cold winters. The dominant trees are black pines and cherries (sakura). Takayama Kokusai Mura consists of two hills on a peninsular in Sendai Bay. We are mid-way between Sendai harbour in the west and the scenic spot of Matsushima in the east. Start by choosing black pine, cherry, oak, willow, mulberry, holly, maple, or ash, or use the search below, and the index at the top of each page will take you to other trees.
