The Importance of Prayer

Brothers, pray for us. (1 Thessalonians 5:25).
Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, (Ephesians 6:18-19).
Finally, brothers, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honoured, just as it was with you. (2 Thessalonians 3:1).

Paul often asked the churches to pray for him. He knew that salvation was of the Lord. He also knew that, according to God's plan, the extension of the kingdom of God would not take place without the prayers of His people. God wants YOU to be involved in this way.
