Genus & species:    Prunus sargentii jamasakura

Family & subfamily:Rosaceae:Prunoideae (stonefruits)

Notes:    White flowers, Black small hard inedible fruits. The classification of cherries seems to be in confusion, none of the books agree. There may be also Kasumizakura (Prunus leveilleana).
